Trash as art: a depiction of how much trash goes into our ocean every 15 seconds at Museum Gestaltung in Zurich.
In advance of International Coastal Cleanup Day this Saturday, we're highlighting plastic and their damaging effects on the ocean this week.
Groups like The Ocean Conservancy, which started ICC 26 years ago, and 5 Gyres, who has conducted numerous expeditions to the world's gyres to get a better handle on the issue, are a few that have inspired us.
This video of an installation at Museum Gestaltung in Zurich is the most recent work that caught our eye: an entire gallery filled with the astonishing amount of trash that goes into the ocean every 15 seconds.
